I was talking to my mom the other day, and she told me that when I was little I had a diary for school. Guess what I wrote about. Yup – food. What I ate that day is pretty much all the info I decided was worth sharing. Look at me now! (I just got this song in my head after writing that sentence. I don’t like Chris Brown.) Seriously though, here I am with essentially an online diary and all I write about is food. Can’t help it sorry, I come from a #FoodieFam.
So tonight I was in the mood for meatloaf and used Alton Brown’s recipe, modified a little based on the ingredients in my fridge. It was delicious and super moist, and my sweet potatoes hit the spot. We had a glass of [red] wine with dinner, a bottle we’ve had before: LaGranja360. It is a tempranillo and granache blend, and both Madison and I love it.
Also, would everyone please note my new plates. I love them! So simple but elegant and dare I say, slightly hipster.
