September 15 – Fresh Air

DC Brunch

The breeze coming in through my windows this morning was wonderful. I couldn’t wait to get outside. We walked down to Founding Farmers for brunch (they have Intelligentsia Coffee!) and then sat in Kogan Plaza for a spell, reminiscing about our GW years. It was too nice to spend time inside so we walked around DC, and biked some before calling it a day.

Homemade pizza and a bottle of Petit Verdot from White Hall for dinner set the mood for a great conversation.  Madison and I had one of those nights where you sit at the table for hours after dinner just sharing stories. When we were too tuckered out, we crashed on the couch and watched The Debt which was so intense it woke us right back up. Really intense and dark film. I recommend it!
