December 22 – Even Santa has to pee

I was not expecting to drive past this, but I give them points for originality

Haha – only in East Greenwich? We drove past it at night too, and I must say it looks very pretty all lit up.

Today marked the beginning of the Devine Christmas cookie kitchen.  We made some batches earlier this week, but there are now about 4 different kinds of dough chilling in the fridge tonight.  I’m sure there will be more good cookie photos to come!

We went to Newport for dinner tonight – to Perro Salado.  Dad’s company had their Christmas party there two years in a row and he wanted to take us so we could try it.  Very delicious authentic Mexican, tucked away from the main drag in Newport.  If you haven’t been, you should go!

Before pulling into our driveway on our way home from dinner, we took a ride down our street to see all the Christmas lights and we unanimously agreed that we have the best in the neighborhood.  Sorry neighbors! =)

December 19 – Zoo Lights

Christmas Lights at the National Zoo

Rachel was visiting today, so we went to the National Zoo to see the lights and animals with Madison and Emily.  It was such a beautiful night and although we didn’t really see any animals (except for a very cute sleeping gorilla) the walk together was perfect. If you have time this week you should definitely go check it out!

So nice having Rachel and Matt visit! Home tomorrow!
